Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
Codex Antiqua is developed by Nebula Quest Studio. By playing, you agree to the terms below.
Acceptance and the service
Codex Antiqua is a free daily puzzle game. You can play entirely anonymously — linking an account (email or Google) is optional and only used to sync your progress across devices.
We don't guarantee the ranking, Museum, or shop will always be available — they depend on our backend (Supabase) and may occasionally be offline.
Conduct
- Nicknames shown on the daily ranking can't be offensive, impersonate someone else, or contain contact information.
- We reserve the right to remove a nickname or ranking entry that violates this rule.
Excavation Credits and cosmetics
Excavation Credits and shop cosmetics (scarves, museum lighting, plaque frames, highlighter colors) have no monetary value, can't be purchased with real money, and can't be exchanged, transferred, or refunded outside the game.
They exist purely to reward daily play and personalize your Scriba — losing them (e.g., from a data reset) does not entitle you to compensation.
Intellectual property
The Codex Antiqua name, puzzles, art, and code are the property of Nebula Quest Studio. You may not redistribute or resell the game or its assets.
Warranty and liability
The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Nebula Quest Studio is not liable for any damages arising from the use (or inability to use) the game.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the game evolves. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised terms.
